Kay Rooney, son of Manchester United youth training young player and team legend Wayne Rooney, suffered an injury. He posted photos of himself using crutches on social media and was in a depressed mood.

15-year-old Kai shared his photos on social media platforms, in which he wore medical protective boots and was leaning on a cane, and wrote: "Life cannot be worse than this."

It is not clear how specific Kai Rooney's injury is, but he seems to be on standby for a while. Manchester United fans reacted to the news and expressed their sympathy for the young player on social media.

A netizen posted: "I wish him a speedy recovery." The second comment read: "I hope it will get better soon." The third netizen wrote: "Get back stronger, young man." The fourth netizen said: "You need to return to the court as soon as possible."

The injury happened shortly after Kai Rooney was unexpectedly selected into the Manchester United U19 echelon. In August this year, he achieved three age groups of jumps due to his outstanding performance in the club's youth training academy. The striker was listed on the roster of a prestigious tournament in Croatia and has since returned to the U18 tier and scored in a 5-0 victory over Middlesbrough U18.

Earlier this month, he also dated his model girlfriend, Rosa Jackson, at Nando 's Restaurant.

Fans hope Kay Rooney can live up to his father's reputation because he can play both the wing and the No. 9, just like his father.
